Kevin, I just finished the book and I can personally vouch for the accuracy of your story-telling. Joe Rex Dennis befriended me in the 80's in Jackson, and his first gift to me was, you guessed it, a collection of Flannery O'Connor's short stories.

Thank you for the book!

Kevin,
Where did you fit into the Equus run? I saw Tony Perkins and Thomas Hulce in July 1975 (right after Burton ended his run)... Just wondering?

Just finished your book - that I found quite by accident in the San Francisco airport on a business trip from my home in Denver. Talk about "heightened coincidences"...which I suppose usually aren't coincidences at all. I was born in Tupelo in 1957, and actually was friends with Karole and T. Clark in Jackson in the early 80s. What you've done here is slam me right back to my roots, bitter and sweet. And out of nowhere besides. Thank you for writing this book, it needed to find me, and take me home.

Dear Kevin -

I have just finished your memoir.
Thank you.
Thank you for the beautiful prose, for your courage, your wit and your incredible memory.

What a gift you have shared with us. May that gift be returned to you.
